First meeting of 2025 scheduled for March 22

Let’s celebrate the vernal equinox and put winter behind us. It’s time to get back to a regular meeting schedule. Here’s hoping all of our P7 neighbors are ready to mix and mingle at the March 22 brown bag gathering.

Date: Saturday, March 22
Time: 11am to 1pm
Location: 170 Main Street, Downtown Greenfield
BYOB Mix and Mingle: 11am to 11:30
Formal Meeting: 11:30 to 1pm

Although there are plenty of P7 issues to talk about, we’re taking a new approach to the monthly gatherings. Rather than being agenda-driven, the front-end of our time will focus on socializing. No fixed menu of topics to discuss at the outset. We’ll then switch gears to review community concerns, projects, etc.

Please BYOBBB (bring your own brown bag and beverage). And if you feel like bringing a little something extra to share with the group, nobody will complain.

Our special guest will be Kathleen Kenny, who will talk about the launch of a project targeted for Deerfield Street which is a major part of Precinct 7. The official launch of the project is on April 26 and coincides with the opening day of the 2025 Farmer’s Market. P7 members will be encouraged to participate in this project, so you’ll want to be at this meeting to get all the colorful details.

Agenda items for the formal portion of the meeting include roosters and Right to Farm regulations, the proposed cell phone tower on Munson Street, and whatever you would like to discuss as it pertains to life in our P7 neighborhoods. If you have a topic you would like to discuss during the agenda portion of the meeting, please, please get in touch via the contact page.

ALSO….please RSVP via our contact page to confirm your attendance. This means “yes I can make it” as well as “no I can’t make it.” Thanks!
