Precinct 7 Neighbors is an inclusive, non-partisan organization dedicated to building social, community, and civic engagement in Greenfield MA’s Precinct 7. There is no charge to belong.
When residents work together through a neighborhood association, they can meet the needs of the community and address many issues in a way that individuals can’t do on their own. Here are just a few of the ways being part of our group can benefit you as a member:
- Bring neighbors together to celebrate living in the neighborhood
- Create a positive forum to discuss wants and needs.
- Increase the sense of belonging and social connections through participation in neighborhood events and meetings.
- Forge partnerships with local elected officials and county staff. This leads to staying better informed about government projects in and around the neighborhood.
- Develop neighborhood-based solutions which address resident concerns, issues, and needs.
- Promote communication in the neighborhood and keep residents well-informed and connected about what is going on.
- Develop consensus and build the foundation for neighborhood priorities by developing buy-in from neighbors regarding potential solutions for concerns, issues, and problems.
