Neighborhood cleanup in Precincts 5 and 7

Join your friends and neighbors in Precincts 5 and 7 at a cooperative Earth Day cleanup event on Sunday, April 21 (rain date April 28). The Greenfield DPW is providing bags, and you provide the muscle.

Here are the steps:

  1. 11:00 AM — Pick up free trash bags and work gloves at one of two pickup spots: (a) Innovintage Place parking lot (Precinct 5), 76 Hope Street; or (b) the Green River School parking lot (Precinct 7), 62 Meridian Street.
  2. 11:00 AM to 1 PM — Tidy up your own street or nearby public areas. You can leave your blue bags on the sidewalk for curbside pickup. No sticker needed!
  3. 1 PM to 3 PM — Team-up with larger crews to tackle some trash “hot spots” on Russell Street, Deerfield Street, Wisdom Way, and Newton Street. Details will be provided at the trash bag pick up locations.
